Florida governor announced he will NOT comply with ‘Obamacare’ in defiance of U.S. Supreme Court ruling »
Florida Governor Rick Scott said on Saturday his state will not adopt President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act or expand its Medicaid program, despite that fact that the law was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.
The announcement comes just days after the Republican said that he would consider following the law if it were declared constitutional.
‘Florida is not going to implement Obamacare. We are not going to expand Medicaid and we’re not going to implement exchanges,’’ Scott’s spokesman Lane Wright said, MSNBC reported.
